Install the script

After you add a website you get a tracking code. Put this on every page, just before </head> or before </body>.

The core file is under 10kb gzipped. It handles identity, sessions, page views, SPA navigation, and the consent gate. Engagement (scroll, rage clicks) and Speed Insights load as separate files only when you enable them on that site.

Events and goals

One event is one accepted request: a page view, a session start, a custom event, or a conversion. Unknown tracking codes and excluded paths are rejected and do not count. Web vitals are shown in the breakdown and never consume quota.

Consent

Settings → Consent, per site. Cookieless mode uses a daily server-side visitor hash. The banner lives in the same script. Visitor choices stay in localStorage.

Imports and search

Account credentials live in Integrations. Site linking is Website settings → Integrations.

• GA4, Cloudflare, PostHog, Fathom, Umami, Simple Analytics, or a CSV zip for history.
• Imports never write a day that already has live tracking or another import.
• Google Search Console and Bing Webmaster use their own tables.
• Sitemap poll every 6 hours, then Google Indexing API and IndexNow.

Uptime and status

Checks for down, slow, SSL, and content change. Alerts: in-app, email, SMS, Telegram, Slack. Each site can publish a public status page at /status/:id.

Share, widgets, API

Public share links live at /p/:token. Embeddable widgets at/api/public/widget/:token. API keys are issued in the dashboard and talk to /api/v1. There is a typed client, @ninelytics/api-client, for native apps.

Plans and metering

Free $0 (10k events, 1 site, 30 days). Starter $9 (100k, 3 sites, 180 days). Growth $29 (1M, 20 sites, 2 years). Scale $79 (5M, unlimited sites and history). Every plan includes a 7-day trial with no card.

Events and AI messages reset on the UTC calendar month. Websites and seats are caps on what exists now. At the events limit the dashboard locks and collection continues for 7 days. Data is kept 90 days after an account goes inactive.
